Outer Banks 4th of July Fireworks
Corolla:
Currituck County will host the 16th Annual Independence Day Celebration on July 4, 2008.
The event will take place at Currituck Heritage Park in Corolla beginning at 6:00 p.m. Activities and attractions will be available throughout the event, which will culminate in a fireworks show staged by Dominion Fireworks.
Visitors will be able to enjoy live musical entertainment and various vendors located near the Whalehead Club. All attractions in Currituck Heritage Park – the Whalehead Club, Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education and the Currituck Lighthouse, as well as nearby Historic Corolla Village – will be open to the public for visitors. In the evening, lawn seating will be available for the fireworks show.
Parking is limited; please follow parking directions upon arrival. For more information, contact the Currituck Department of Travel and Tourism at 435-2947 or the Corolla Visitors Center at 453-9612.
