Here are some reasons why vacation rentals deliver the most bang for your buck:

1. It’s cheaper. Especially if you go during the off-season, up to 50% off the peak rates. The vacation homes are usually very large so when you calculate the cost per person, it’s more affordable than you might think.
2. You have kitchens and grills to cook yourself. You can continue to save money on your vacation if you take advantage of the kitchen and the grills usually provided in vacation homes. Family barbeques are always fun!
3. A pool of your own! If you’re in a vacation home usually visited in the summer, chances are it has a pool that you can use all to yourself.

6. Free Wi-Fi. Many homes include free Wifi. While paying $9 a day at a hotel isn’t horrible, vacation is not spent on a computer, so $9 to check email is a bit much (There are a lot of hotels with free Wi-Fi, but many still charge!).
7. More likely to be pet friendly. A vacation home is more likely to be pet-friendly, which means you can save on kenneling costs. This would be virtually impossible with other lodging arrangements
