Outer Banks: 3.22.12 - Pretty Spring Day in Kitty Hawk

Good morning. Here’s the Outer Banks Beach, Surf & Fishing Report for Thursday, March 22, 2012.

Pretty spring day, and great spring weather to close out the week. 70′s, sun, light southwest wind through Sunday. A chance of some scattered thunderstorms, but sun will be the norm.

Not much surf to report. There is a little swell, and the wind will stay offshore through Sunday, so if you can find the right spot, there could be a longboard wave.

OBX fishing is slow, but piers are opening and the water temps are warming up. Spring fish should be here soon.
