Good morning. Here’s the Outer Banks Beach, Surf & Fishing Report for Tuesday, March 27, 2012.
This video was shot at the Sutton St. beach access in Kill Devil Hills at 8:30 AM.
Cool temps and strong wind is the story of the day. Temps in the 50′s and 20 mph north winds. Chilly, but bright and sunny.
We’ll jump back to 70 tomorrow and we’ll close out the week with warm temps and light wind.
Big messy swell from the wind today. But the wind will switch offshore tomorrow. 70 degree temps and clean chest – head surf?! Yes, please!
OBX fishing is starting to pick up. No big catches, but spring fish are showing up, and the NE wind is blowing warm water our way. Spring fish are on the way! Offshore has been doing well with tuna.
If you are thinking about an OBX getaway, please give us a look at http://www.OuterBanksVacations.com.
Hope to see you soon. Have fun!
