Good morning. Here’s your Outer Banks Beach, Surf & Fishing Report for Friday, June 21, 2013…. the first day of summer!

Gorgeous morning with no clouds and temperature right around 70 degrees. Wind is blowing from the E. at 7 mph, perfect morning for a walk on the beach.
Ocean surf is chest high and very choppy in most areas of Outer Banks. Hopefully we’ll get cleaner sets later today. Water temperature is 71 degrees in KDH! No need to wear a wetsuit today.
Offshore fisherman catching their limits of Yellowfin Tuna and there is plenty of it available at local seafood markets. Pier and surf fishing has been spectacular all week. Anglers reporting lots of Bluefish, Drum, Spot and Trout and Sea Mullet.
