Kill Devil Hills, NC

Kill Devil Hills, NC

Good morning and happy Friday!  Here’s your Outer Banks Beach, Surf & Fishing Report for Friday, June 28, 2013.

This video and picture were taken in Kill Devil Hills at milepost 8 @ 8:30 a.m.

The weather is spectacular this morning!  High of almost 90 expected today with a chance of storms later.  Light wind from the SW at 7 mph.

Surf this morning is great for paddle boarding (see video below). Wave height is knee-cap to thigh high and ocean water temperatures in the mid 60’s.

Surf and pier fishing is slow.  Sound fishing is decent, anglers on the causeway bridge in Manteo catching Trout, Black Drum, Puppy Drum, Spot and Croakers.  Offshore fishing is decent, reports of Yellowfin Tuna and Gaffer Dolphin.

If you are thinking about an OBX vacation, please give us a look at www.OuterBanksVacations.com Hope to see you soon. Have fun!
