Congratulations! You made it to Friday and many of us are just a few hours away from a 3-day weekend. Woohoo!
Your trusted Outer Banks beach reporter is back with another OBX Beach, Surf & Fishing report from the town of Kill Devil Hills. This picture and video are from 8:30 a.m. this morning.
Today is shaping up to be an absolutely fantastic beach day! It’s sunny, temperatures are in the mid-70s and there is a light breeze from the NNE. There were already quite a few people on the beach this morning who were taking advantage of the gorgeous weather.
Plenty of waves this morning that are waiting for you to enjoy. Wave height is about stomach high and building with somewhat windy conditions. The Atlantic is a tad bit rough but you won’t have too difficult of a time catching waves. Ocean water temps in the mid-70s! :)
Surf fishing is great this this morning. Anglers reporting plenty of Sea Mullet, Flounder, Bluefish and Pompano. Piers reporting Bluefish, Pompano, Spot, Sand Perch, Sea Mullet and Drum. Offshore boats had yet another fantastic day of Marlin fishing. Also reports of Yellowfin Tuna, Dolphin and Blackfin.
