2013 Outer Banks Festival of Trees at Jennette’s Pier

2013 Outer Banks Festival of Trees Jennette's Pier

Although snow isn’t in the forecast for the next few weeks on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, you can get your Christmas spirit flowing by attending one of the many upcoming holiday events this December.

Among the list of festivities this holiday season, is the upcoming 25th Annual Festival of Trees at Jennette’s Pier in Nags Head, North Carolina.

Presented by the Outer Banks Hotline – a local non-profit human services organization that provides crisis intervention, temporary shelter, information, advocacy and prevention education services to residents and visitors alike to the Northern portion of the Outer Banks.  The local non-profit does a whole lot of good for Dare Country and 100% of the proceeds from the 2013 Festival of Trees support their day-to-day operations.

Hosted by Jennette’s Pier at milepost 15 on the beach road (NC12) in Nags Head, the Festival of Trees is celebrating their second year of being held at the newly-rebuilt pier owned by the North Carolina Aquarium Association.  This annual event brings visitors and residents of the Outer Banks together to celebrate the holiday season oceanfront at Jennette’s Pier.

Attendees can leap into the holiday season with festive lights, musical performances of your favorite Christmas tunes, scrumptious snacks and beverages, crafts and activities for the kiddos, and of course, Santa Clause will be onsite to make this holiday event complete.
